General Competition Rules

  • Each apparatus will be judged out of 10.

  • Competitors will receive general deductions based on technique.
  • Competitors may use more skills in their routine than that required, but there will be no bonus for having more skills or harder: the idea is to demonstrate your `best' skills. All skills in the routine may be deducted from.
  • Competitors in the Advanced stream are welcome to use the best number of skills from the WAG or MAG code from level 5 or above to replace the skills suggested below. These skills listed in the Advanced stream are a suggestion only, and competitors are welcome to create a more difficult routine.
